Here we have,

Acceleration, a = 4 m/s

Initial velocity, u = 0 m/s

Time, t = 10 s

Distance covered (s) =?

We know that, s = ut + 1 /2 at2

⇒ s = 0 × 10 + 1/ 2 × 4 × (10) 2

⇒ s = 2 × 100 m

⇒ s = 200 m

Thus, racing car will cover a distance of 200 m after start in 10 s with given acceleration.
