A flower that contains both the male and female reproductive structure (stamen and pistil) is called a bisexual flower. Examples of plants bearing bisexual flowers are:

  • Water lily ( Nymphaea odorata)
  • Rose (Rosa multiflora )
  • Hibiscus (Hibiscus Rosa-sinensis )
  • Mustard ( Brassica nigra)
  • Petunia (Petunia hybrida)
