Question

Moist a chapati and place it in a dark area. What do you observe after 2-3 day .write down your observation in the form of a  small note.

If moist chapati is placed in a dark area thread growth appears on the surface. This thread growth is known as mold. This mold is actually a fungus. 
The spore from the fungus is being blown by the wind and this will reach the surface of the chapati. Once the spore reaches the chapati surface, it will start to use the nutrients and moisture in the chapati to grow.
