(i) Hydrolysis of XeF6 is not regarded as a redox reaction. Why ?
(ii) Write a chemical equation to represent the oxidizing nature of XeF4.

(i) Because oxidation number of Xe do not change during hydrolysis of XeF6.
(ii) XeF4 + 2H2   Xe + 4HF
