Food crops: Crops that are cultivated to meet basic food requirements are called food crops. Staple food crops such as cereals, pulses, vegetables, and fruits are termed as food crops.

Cash crops: Crops that are cultivated for selling the products derived from them or for other economic gains are called cash crops. A cash crop is an agricultural crop Rubber, tea, coffee, jute, sugarcane, and cotton are cash crops.
