(i) When silver nitrate solution is added to sodium chloride solution, a white precipitate of silver chloride is formed along with sodium nitrate solution.
AgNO3(aq)+ NaCl(aq) --------> AgCl(s) + NaNO3(aq)

                                             ( white ppt)   

(ii) This is double displacement reaction.
