Two ores,A and B were taken. On heating ore A gives CO₂ whereas, ore B gives SO₂. What steps will you take to convert them into metals?

Since ore,A gives CO₂ and ore,B gives SO₂. Therefore, ores are MCO₃  and MS. 

As, A is a carbonate ore, it is first subjected to calcination followed by reduction.
