Two carbon compounds A and B have the molecular formula (C3H8) and (C3H6) respectively. Which one of the two is most likely to show addition reaction? Justify your answer.

Compound A (C3H8) is saturated and compound B (C3H6) is unsaturated hydrocarbon (with a double bond). As we know that addition reactions are a characteristic property of unsaturated hydrocarbons, thus the compound B (C3H6) is most likely to show, addition reaction.
