i. Skeletal chemical equation is a representation of a chemical reaction using chemical formulae of reactants
and products and it is unbalanced.
eg. Mg + HCl ---> MgCl2 + H2
ii. In balanced chemical equation, the number of atoms of each element on both the sides of the equation are equal.
