We have the bulk modulus formula as:

For an adiabatic process, the bulk modulus is given by

κ = −V dp / dV = γ p

adiabatic bulk modulus = γP

at NTP, P = 1.013 × 105 N/m2 & γ = 1.4

hence bulk modulus = 1.013 × 105 × 1.4

≃ 1.4 × 105 N/m2
