State the laws that are followed when light is reflected by spherical mirrors. Draw a ray diagram to show the formation of image of an object placed in front of a convex mirror. List two characteristics of the image formed. Briefly explain one use of convex mirrors.

(i) The incident ray, the normal to the mirror at the point of incidence and the reflected ray, all lie in the same plane, and
(ii) The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection
