In the fig. The block of mass M is at rest on the floor. The acceleration with which a monkey  of mass m should climb along the rope of negligible mass so as to lift the block from floor is?

Please apply FBD to solve the problem the main concept behind this is the block of mass M should lift. So, the force required to lift the block should be greater than Mg.
Applying FBD rule and equating will get the answer.
If you do get after this then I will solve it for you.

I tried but I'm getting the answer >(m/M+1)g instead of (M/m+1)g.
