(i) An object of size 3 cm is placed in front of a thin spherical lens of power +4D. The image is formed at a distance of 40 cm from the lens. Name the type of spherical lens. Also calculate the position of object and size of image.
(ii) A watchmaker uses a small magnifying glass to see tiny parts. Where should he keep the object (parts of watch), to see a clear image? Draw the ray diagram for above mentioned case.
