Budding in Yeast begins with the appearance of a small protuberance which appears on the upper part of the adult yeast cell. It slowly grows in size and a new bud having its own nucleus is formed. On the tip of this newly formed bud, another bud is formed. This process continues for 3-4 times and in this way, a chain of yeast cells is formed.
