Bihar have the high infant mortality rate because:

  • Bihar have lack of health facilities.

  • Child rearing practices, not every traditional practice is good. I mean there are some good and some bad.

  • Various diseases can easily be controlled by vaccine administration and immunization of child, but the health care system has yet not gained trust of all the individuals. Many people, especially in rural population do not get their child vaccinated.
