Causes of Round Shoulders:
- Round shoulders may be due to heredity.
- Sitting, standing and walking in bent position may also result in round shoulders.
- By wearing very tight clothes.
- Sitting on improper furniture.
- Lack of proper exercise specially of shoulders may also lead to round shoulders.
- To become habitual to press the chest, specially at the time of bench press.
Remedies:
The following exercises should be performed for the remedy of round shoulders deformity:
- Stand in erect position.
- Do not allow to drop the shoulder.
- Do exercise with rotating the shoulders in backward direction and downward motion.
- Do more exercise with shoulder and strengthen shoulder muscles girdle.
- Be conscious while you sit.
- Exercise for lengthening the chest muscles.
