What happens when
(i) iron nail is placed in silver nitrate solution?
(ii) iron strip is dipped in zinc sulphate solution?

(i) Iron is more reactive than silver.

(li) Iron is below zinc in the reactivity series; therefore, iron cannot displace zinc from zinc sulphate solution. No reaction takes place.
