(i) In Rajasthan, sadly the practice of rooftop rainwater harvesting is on a decline.
(ii) It is due to the availability of plenty of water from Perennial Rajasthan canal.
(iii) New generation considers stored water of rainwater unhygienic so they don’t prefer to drink that water. Tamil Nadu is the state which has made rooftop rainwater harvesting compulsory.
