Subject: Replacement of the defective HP - Jet 200 Printer Sir,
I bought an HP Desk Jet 200 Printer from your firm, The, Computer Home, Ranchi on 20th September, 2017. ‘The Computer Home’ is the sole dealer of Hewlett Packard at Ranchi. However, I am constrained to express my resentment that the Jet Printer has belied all those tall claims that you have been making through your spacious advertisements in the newspapers. The most irritating factor is that of its print quality. The print is substandard, hazy and the impression lacks depth and clarity. The ink nozzles of the print cartridge have caused a lot of headache to me. The nozzles frequently get clogged.
I regret to say that inspite of my repeated reminders, you paid no attention to remove these problems in the smooth working of the Jet Printer. Such a behaviour defies all ethics of business and trade. The warranty period hasn’t expired and it is obligatory on your part to remove such technical faults. I request you to replace this defective printer and hope you will send your service engineer to attend to the defective Jet Printer at the earliest. I am sure, you will not compel me to go to the Consumers’ Court for the redress of my grievance.
