A Walking Man
A man was walking alone on the road at midnight. He was a writer. He was 45 years old. Being a writer, he was quite untouched by machinery and system of present age.
The present age is devoid of human feelings. All the people are busy in running after money. They have become just like machines.
It was a cold wintry night. The man named Michael thought to take a walk and feel the fresh air. The streets were quiet and deserted. Michael was lost in his thoughts. The sound of T.V. programmes were coming from the houses. A dim light was falling on the streets.
On the highway at the turning, suddenly a car stopped. The cop asked, “what is your name?” He said, “Michael”. The cop asked, “What are you doing at this time of the hour? Don’t you have a family?” He answered, “I have.” The cop told him to sit in his car. He took him to the police station. When he asked, “What is my offence?” He said, “You are arrested on the basis of suspicion”. Michael was sentenced for a year.
